Bicycle Touring
Cyclists traveling through southern Colorado often ride the stunning Highway of Legends; one of the most beautiful cycling routes in the region. It is also home to the Stonewall Century Race. Named after the incredible and prominent rock formations in the region known as the stone walls.
After a steep ride and a full day on the road or after the race, Spanish Peaks Campground Bar & Grill is a great place to pitch a tent, grab a cold beverage and a hot meal, and relax for the next day's ride.

Our campground is conveniently located near the towns of Walsenburg, Aguilar, and Trinidad offers an oasis for bicycle tourers, motorcycle riders, overlands, hikers, and any kind of adventurer passing through (or wanting to stay a while!). On your way in from Highway 25, stop at Ringo's Market in Aguilar for anything you might need to restock!
The area around the Spanish Peaks is known for it's stunning scenery and outdoor recreation. We are the perfect basecamp for outdoor adventure in southern Colorado!
